- The owner, Marie, was lovely. She showed us to our room when we arrived, and despite my somewhat limited facility with French we had some good conversation at breakfast.
- The house (an old French country farmhouse) is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, inviting and well appointed.
- Spectacular garden with a pool and a lovely terrace - we didn't get to experience much of that because it was late October and raining, but I can imaging it is wonderful in the warmer months.
- The continental breakfast was excellent.
- Free parking right next to the house.
The gate intercom apparently wasn't working so we were outside in the rain for 15 minutes before we finally phoned and the owner came and let us in.

Firstly what a beautiful place - both the building itself and my room! It is located just a 5 minute walk over the river from the main town. There was plenty for breakfast and the owner tried her best to make conversation in English which was much appreciated and tried my best in (my very poor) French in response. A real gem!
The soundproofing wasn't great and, being an old building, the floors creaked a lot.

Very little and unclear signage for the property. Breakfast was sparse. One croissant, but butter and jam in unlimited quantities. Coffee was terrible. No heating. Dust accumulated under the bed.
