Pensao Favorit was exactly what we hoped it would be. Perfect location for visiting and relaxing in Porto, lovely staff ever ready to help, from calling taxis to giving us local information. Breakfast was excellent and copious if required. The lovely cosy garden was a little oasis of calm despite some local building work which they had warned us about and which really did not disturb us at all. The weather being fine we were able to sit out in the garden which was literally just outside our room. Our room was spacious and the bed was excellent and huge! We loved it and will certainly recommend it to like minded friends who do not wish to stay in a huge corporate international style hotel. It has the feeling of a family home including a really nice sitting room looking onto the garden in which you can just sit and chill. We stayed a full seven days which is a record for us. I hope we will be back on a future trip to Portugal.
Honestly, nothing could have been better and as things stand I would ask for it again!
However our room was up some short quite steep steps and perhaps a word of warning might have been useful to someone with knee or back problems. I have occasional knee and back trouble and a hand rail would have been helpful. Our room was one of only two I think, with this layout and as things stand I would book it again!there was a lift to all the rooms not directly giving onto the garden.

Fatima and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Delicious breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to historic area and Gia.

The location is on the middle of great shops and restaurants and short walk to the river area and all of the sights. It's a beautiful inn with lovely furniture and rooms.

The apartment is in a great location, close to the cathedral and restaurants, and quiet and peaceful. We loved the breakfast and the gardens!
Only wish we could have stayed longer!
