Good communication from the landlady, who seemed friendly and helped when I asked, although I didn’t meet her. Off-road
I needed somewhere to stay for my dog and I, close to my parents in Bodmin so this place looked ideal. The kitchen set up was nice and the washing machine was very handy. I didn‘t use the oven or microwave, just the kettle and the 1 cereal bowl from the cupboard. The bed was comfortable and I slept quiet well. It was nice to have somewhere to sit with the little table and chairs in the bedroom. The bathroom and shower were fine, its just quite small but as I was on my own the doors stayed open for more space. The parking space off of a main road was very welcome.
The initial appearance isn’t great. You walk down a very small alleyway to the untidy front door. The path was muddy, full of dead leaves and very unwelcoming. The mud was then walked into the property, which was a real shame, I cleaned up as best as I could and left my shoes by the door. The sponge for washing up was really dirty, no idea what it was used for previously so I bought my own. There should be clean sponges/cloths between guests in my opinion. The property smelt damp too and it was really cold. After two nights of being cold I wrote and asked the landlady to turn on the heating as the portable heater was not touching the cold. The heating was turned on and the damp smell improved as the property warmed. I took my wet washing to my parents house, I couldn‘t actually get the clothes airer out from the side of the washing machine, but actually I didn‘t want my wet clothes to dry in the damp smelling atmosphere. Under the bed was a bit dusty and there was an empty PET bottle which wasn’t mine (I only looked as my dog‘s toy went under the bed). I didn‘t agree the property was dirty like some of the previous renters have written, it felt okay to me. Some of the scatter cushions have seen better days and need replacing. I didn‘t like the garden area, felt too enclosed and I don‘t like astroturf but my dog wandered in and out to check out the sniffs.

Cornwall was amazing, the accommodation not so much.
The location was great, central for the places we visited.
Kelly was a lovely girl.. She was very helpful.
The annex smelt damp, there was a dehumidifier running constantly to collect moisture. When I got home I had to wash all of our clothes, even ones we didn't wear as they smelt of damp.
The duvet needed replacing, the duvet cover wouldn't do up.
There was hair and dust between the head end of the bed and the bedside cabinet.
I'm sorry to have to write this review because Kelly was a good host.

Very disappointed my family stayed at a premier inn at a lower price with comfort and cleanliness and we feel at the pr
It was near where we needed to be for a wedding
The narrow walkway between 2 properties was very muddy and full of leaves so shoes got filthy and you were walking mud in. The door looked like a derelict door thought we were in the wrong place when we arrived. Heating controlled by the adjoining property . So very cold at times. Bedding quilt too small for the bed. Also when we stripped the bed when we left the quilt was filthy.

Damp and Dirty Annexe
On Arrival, Myself & Husband saw the owner when getting our stuff from the car she was friendly, but didn't give you enough time to say weather our dogs was OK with other dogs as hers was there then peed/wee up our car wheel.
We got to the front door, and this was left open ??? Once inside the Annexe the smell of damp hit you straight away, so left door to garden open to air it out a bit as with some places it's because of cold weather and not been used in a while?????
Facilities was OK but not great. Mircowave smelt of tomato soup like someone had just used it and was dirty inside. the oven was dirty and not been cleaned. The toaster was dirty, rusty, and needs to be replaced, and the whole kitchen needs to be updated and re-decorated as mould and flaking paint and floor is uneven due to damp lifting it, utensils e.g plates etc need to be cleaned as they looked and felt greasy and the condiments in the cupboard was out of date and rusty coffee, tea and sugar didnt look like it had been changed either so this shows you the last time it was cleaned and checked properly, Toilet, Shower and Sink was clean but needs to be cleaned properly as dirty beside of shower and needs to be repainted and get rid of the mould on ceiling, Bedroom :- Bedding smelt damp so used own blankets to sleep on top of even our dogs wouldn't sleep on the floor it smelt that bad and the whole bedroom was damp, very dirty needs to be deep cleaned and redecorated to get rid of all the dust and mould, and TV signal was great either keep cutting off.... Garden needed to be cleaned and de-weeded and considering its a low maintenance garden with artificial grass and decking it could of easily been cleaned up before anybody stayed here as i had to stop my puppy from eating the moss and weeds and fag butts, even had to use a chair to block off a gap to some sort of shed as the wooden panel didnt block it off completely..
Big enough for a solo or couple and perfect to destress from day to day life.
The access, could have a sensor light as it’s quite dark and narrow. But doesn’t take away from the great place it is to stay.

That had space to park on driveway. Dog friendly and helpful host.
Bed was uncomfortable sadly.

the host left you alone to relax, the bed was comfy, the shower facilities were nice and clean, the towels were nicely hanged up, not far from the town centre, nice table and 4 wooden chairs,
their was only 1 thing i didn't like which was the main door, had a small problem, the latch on the door would not open, leaving me stuck indoors-the host was fantastic and helped straight away, would recommend changing the door and then this place would get 100% recommendation.
