Country House Charm & Swimming Fun
The “Salbei” vacation rental is our gem for anyone who loves authentic charm. It’s located in the “Alte Meierei,” the building with arguably the most history on our farm. You’ll really feel this in the master bedroom: when you swing your feet out of bed in the morning, you’ll step onto the warm wood of the original, preserved plank floor. It feels like the good old days, but with all the comforts of today.
Cooking with a View
While in many vacation rentals the kitchen is in the living room, here you have your own little kingdom for cooking up a storm. And the best part: you have an audience! The view from the kitchen window (and the kids’ room) looks right out onto the pen where our farm pigs roam. It’s wonderfully relaxing to watch what the animals are up to while making coffee.
Cozy Corner in the Kids’ Room
The kids’ room at “Salbei” is a true retreat. In addition to the beds, there’s a comfortable recliner here. During the day, it’s the perfect spot to browse through a comic book, and at night, it transforms in a flash into another cozy bed if needed. This gives you maximum flexibility, no matter how many children or friends you’re traveling with.
Wellness for the little ones (and grown-ups)
“Salbei” is one of the few apartments with a bathtub. Parents really appreciate this: whether it’s for a quick “wash-down” of sandy kids after a day at the beach or a relaxing bubble bath for Mom and Dad—the tub is worth its weight in gold.
