We really enjoyed our stay at the Moxy Charleston! The hotel has a really fun, modern and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
We particularly loved the social areas of the hotel. The bar and communal spaces had a great atmosphere and were perfect for having a drink and relaxing after a day exploring Charleston. The whole hotel has a quirky, youthful feel which makes it a little different from a traditional hotel.
The location was also really convenient for exploring Charleston, and we found it easy to get around and visit all the places we wanted to see. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and thought the Moxy was a great base for our trip.
There really wasn’t much we didn’t like about our stay. The rooms are quite compact and there isn’t a huge amount of storage space, but we expected this from the Moxy style and it wasn’t really an issue for us. Other than that, we were very happy with the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The beds and pillows were so comfortable.
The decor was fun and not overdone.
The people for the most part were very acomodating.
It made a great place for a girls weekend.
There were no vents in the bathrooms.
There was no pool.
The sliding door on 202 is jammed open.
The curtain on 202 was not closing all the way for sleeping.

Bartenders were great
Front desk staff less than helpful, small rooms. Front lobby closed off and made it a bit confusing
