Great location , spacious for the family

Close to shops and public transport. Plenty of on street parking. Check in was a breeze and host was very communicative. Having portable heaters in each room was a nice touch since it was so cold during our stay.

Could have done with soaps and shampoo in the bathrooms. We were only provided with hand soap.

Location was perfect for what we needed, space wise was perfect and amount of rooms for the people staying were perfect. Most beds were comfortable enough and there were very basic amenities for what we needed

The front porch light wasn't working and switch couldn't be found, the main bed in the ensuite (where my husband and myself were staying) room was fine and ensuite was fine but the bed itself felt very unstable as the frame was not sturdy at all and was shaking / moving back and fourth heaps, I'm not sure if there was something missing to lock it all in place but shifting around felt like it could break. Gardens and lawns were very unkempt, the backyard especially really needs some maintenance - very overgrown and super dirty, so it did not feel welcoming to sit outside at all. There wasn't any basic coffee / tea / milk stored that could be used, which i thought was a standard to be provided at holiday homes. An enormous amount of cosmetic maintenance work that needs to be completed that could be easily done to make it feel more welcoming and overall a very pleasant stay e.g. lots of black scratches all over the walls (easy enough to put a fresh coat of paint over) and scratches in alot of the furniture, peeling vinyl off downstairs kitchen cupboards, broken handles and door hinges around the kitchen, weird plastering / grouting on the tiles, re-silicone on all the bathroom tiles (the mould build up was looking atrocious), more thorough cleaning of the house, found a lot of dust and cobwebs in many places. Overall, felt like the house was a bit neglected.
