Lovely location, quite, loved the Jacuzzi, kitchen facilities and that they had, board games if you didn't bring any, was lovely and peaceful like a cute hobbit hole We had two sperate booking as the first room was not available the 2nd night we appreciated they put out bookings together so we didn't have to check and put again and could really fully enjoy the 2nd day which worked out amazing as their was a storm so I'm happy we didn't have to leave the cabin

Lots of wasps, we saw a few dead when we arrived. We had over a dozen the Frist day, half a dozen the second day we thought we'd got them all and had a few the morning we left. They genrously provide 2 cans of spray. We ended up using both. We had someone check-in on us and offered to hoover them as we had told them about it . My partner had flushed most down the loo but left some the last day. Didn't want to squash them to attract more. We mentioned we think they had a nest in the heat unit. They seemed to come from there, behind curtains and towels. Made us feel anxious as they were hiding and would come out randomly. When it was cold we put the heat on and off. I have never been stung before my mother in-law is allergic so was worried if I'd have a reaction but we avoided being stung. Lovely stay would stay again if could guarantee no wasps. Cabin needs fumigation. It might be the time of year? Could have done with a vending machine maybe where you buy coal etc , or a loaded mini Fridge with drinks? we brought food and a soft drink but don't drive so would have been expensive to order drinks in or get a taxi to shops and back. Made due with tea and water. Maybe signage of local taxi numbers in main area. We got an Uber back to station but had to wait a while.

Everything

Nothing

Clean and top facilities. The hot tub was the highlight and the cabin was warm comfortable and cosy

Only thing missing was the attention to detail of the garden toys and equipment in the shed. My granddaughter was a bit disappointed when the balks and shuttle cocks were all deflated and broken. The hula hoops were bend and couldn’t be used and the sports nets were tangled up and couldn’t be useful

Lovely quiet location and nice facilities to help you relax and unwind.

The sheets and duvet covers were visibly dirty, with hair and what looked like dried snot stuck to them. The table wear, glassware and cutlery was also dirty. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken. The lockbox for the treasure hunt activity did not open with the correct numbers selected.
