About this cottage rental

Close to skiing, the riverside, and more, this smoke-free cottage brings it all within reach. Thanks to the convenient uncovered onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Oppstrynsvatnet, or easily tackle the quick 3-minute drive to Jostedalsbreen National Park.

Relax in the garden (enjoy the outdoor furniture!) or sip a drink on the balcony of this cottage. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and flat-screen TV.

This 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental features a sitting area, a dining area, a pillowtop bed, and a charcoal grill. In addition, there's a rainfall showerhead, along with towels, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, as well as a coffee maker, a microwave, and cookware.

Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!
