Lovely stay and very helpful staff. Everything was great other than elevator is slow due to historical elevator.

Super cute and charming place. Staff was wonderful. The place is a littttle more dingy than the photos show but still a great place to stay!
Be aware that the elevators are more old school and tend to move pretty slow if the hotel is busy. When we were here one of the two was out the whole weekend so we had to climb to our room on the 8th floor a couple times 😅. Otherwise, service was great here! Still recommend!!

Came to San Diego for a Naval ceremony on the Midway and this was the perfect spot for a weekend stay. My husband and I checked in late and the staff was very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. Small, but the historic charm made it feel like a European hotel room. We liked the modern upgrades like the dimming lights. We didn’t have much of a “window” (it just opened to an enclosed courtyard) but only really stayed in the room at night so it didn’t matter much. The neighborhood is a bit loud but the hotel felt safe. Definitely a good option for what we needed!
