About this house rental
A detached house in a quiet, charming village in the heart of the Vosges Forest. Come discover this fully renovated vacation rental in the former village bakery of Docelles, combining modern comfort with traces of the past. Surrounded by fir trees and just a 20-minute drive from Lake Gérardmer, our vacation rental is the ideal spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
The recently renovated Fournil des Vosges is the perfect place to gather.
This single-family home features three open spaces on the first floor: the kitchen, the living room, and the dining room.
The authentic kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, professional oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, raclette and fondue sets, pots and pans, a blender, a mixer, an electronic scale, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster.
In the living room, a space designed to comfortably accommodate 4 people, you’ll also have access to a flat-screen TV and a wood-burning stove. Logs and kindling for a few fires are located next to the stove.
In the dining room, with floor-to-ceiling windows covering one side of the property, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the village of Docelles in the Vosges.
The first floor also features a half-bath and a modern bathroom with a washing machine.
Upstairs, you’ll find a workspace or reading area, a loft bedroom with two single beds, and a double bedroom.
The housekeeping package includes beds made upon your arrival, bath towels, washcloths, and dish towels, as well as the cleaning of bed linens, towels, and the entire property.
During your stay, you’ll have full access to the entire cottage (detached house, patio, and garden). You’ll also have access to two parking spaces in front of the house.
Bed linens and towels are provided and included in the cleaning fee.
In winter, you can use the wood-burning stove in the living room.
