Hidden Charges and a Consumer Complaint: Be Warned | Cargos ocultos y reclamación al Consumidor

Due to a lack of transparency in the charges and the impossibility of reaching an agreement, we have been forced to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Office. The reason: the advertised price did NOT include electricity consumption, a charge that appeared nowhere on the platform and was not disclosed during the booking process. We were only informed after payment and check-in, at which point cancelling meant losing almost the entire amount paid. We are sharing this so that future guests are forewarned.
