My wife's first reaction on seeing this hotel was negative. The curb appeal is a bit low because the building is small and older. Boy did she change her tune fast. Room was spacious; bathroom superior. The back of the property (garden, pool) was very nice. The proprietor is wonderful (even drove us to a different town when we discovered the bus was not running). Very, very helpful. Speaks enough English we could communicate (our French is virtually non-existent). Location is great--3 minute walk from the train station, and about 10 minute walk from the center of town where there are restaurants, etc. And I haven't even mentioned the breakfast yet. Best breakfast we had in 2 weeks in France. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Fabiane (sp)was an absolutely gem. She was kind, helpful and took absolute care of myself and the other guests who were attending the same wedding. I cannot express my gratitude for her kindness, flexibility and support. She coordinated transport for me as I did not know the other guests. The room was good and I loved the wooden shutters….
