At the family-run, organic farm “die Unterbergerin,” where your hosts Angelika and Elisabeth will personally take care of you and offer advice, you’ll enjoy a truly special, relaxing, and eventful vacation in the mountains. The farm-based bed-and-breakfast and its three adjacent small vacation homes each accommodate 4–6 families and can therefore also be booked by groups and families traveling together for an undisturbed vacation in a private atmosphere.

Vacation with FREE Thermal Spa Access
For stays of 2 nights or more, all guests of the farm hotel “Die Unterbergerin” enjoy FREE access to the wellness facilities at the Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein, including Sauna World, Family World, Relax World, and Ladies World, along with all outdoor areas featuring refreshing thermal swimming lakes, sports pools, slides, and a playground.
Hard to believe, but true: You can use the thermal baths starting on your arrival day throughout your entire stay, up to and including your departure day—all day long or even multiple times a day—subject only to the Alpentherme’s opening and maintenance hours.

Location of the Accommodation
The farm hotel is located in Dorfgastein in a picturesque, storybook setting surrounded by nature, right on the bike path, and in close proximity to the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski, hiking, and biking area (about a 3-minute drive). The ski bus stop and the starting point for numerous ski tours, hikes, and bike tours are right next to the hotel. The Alpentherme and the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski and hiking area are about a 10-minute drive away. Dorfgastein is considered an ideal and central starting point for the numerous discovery and adventure tours throughout the entire Salzburg vacation region.

From homemade apple-carrot juice, organic eggs from our own farm, and freshly rolled oats for your muesli to Prosecco and kombucha, you’ll find everything your heart desires here. For early risers, a delicious hot breakfast is also available (please sign up in advance). Guests staying in the vacation apartments have the option to book the buffet, breakfast baskets, and bread roll service from the bed-and-breakfast—either as an add-on or on a daily basis. The on-site farm shop also offers numerous homemade products and meals that you can heat up yourself in your vacation apartment. For a quick snack or to quench your thirst between meals, there’s also a vending machine with a selection of drinks and snacks. Enjoy the end of your day with a cozy glass of wine on your own balcony or in the traditional farmhouse parlor.
