The Space:

Sherwood Oasis is a gated single-story retreat designed for comfort, privacy, and memorable stays. The main house features 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 well-appointed bathrooms, while the detached guest house offers even more flexibility with a king bed, sofa, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and Smart TV—ideal for extended family, guests, or added privacy during your stay.

One of the home’s standout features is the expansive outdoor setting. The nearly half-acre yard offers a peaceful, private atmosphere perfect for relaxing, entertaining, or spending quality time together. The oversized gated pool is the centerpiece of the backyard and can be heated to over 90 degrees for year-round enjoyment for an additional fee. The pool is surrounded by mature trees, manicured landscaping, and generous patio space that creates a true resort-like feel.

Because the property is surrounded by lush greenery, occasional leaves may naturally make their way into the pool. Our pool technician visits twice weekly to help keep the pool clean and well maintained.

The separate primary suite serves as a private retreat, complete with an en-suite bathroom designed for relaxation. Enjoy a Japanese soaking tub, skylight, walk-in shower with rain shower head and waterfall feature, elegant tilework, and a large walk-in closet with custom built-ins. The suite also overlooks the beautiful rear grounds, adding to the peaceful feel of the space.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the full property, including the main house, detached guest house, private yard, pool area, and driveway parking.
Mailbox: Guests do not have mailbox access. Please leave a note asking delivery carriers not to place packages in the mailbox.

The Neighborhood:

The home is conveniently located near major freeways, making it easy to get around Los Angeles by car. Uber and Lyft are also great options for exploring the area.

Getting Around:

House is located near the freeway. A car is recommended to explore Los Angeles. Uber and rideshare services are also readily available.

Other Things to Note:

UTILITIES:
For reservations of 28 nights or longer, a non-refundable utilities fee is required and is due prior to check-in. This fee helps cover electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, trash, and other utility-related operating costs.

The utilities fee is based on seasonal usage and property size and ranges from $39–$69 per day (excluding pool heating). The exact amount will be determined based on the season and length of stay.
If you would like to add unlimited pool heating for the duration of your stay, the additional utility fee is $49 per day.

On-Demand Heating:
For guests who only wish to use the pool occasionally, on-demand heating may be available upon request and is subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to arrange heating.

Pool Heating for SHORT TERM STAYS: $299 per day (large pool). Minimum: 3 days. All pool heating requests must be arranged and paid prior to use and are subject to availability and scheduling.
Please note that the pool requires approximately one full day to heat, so heating requests must be made in advance to ensure the pool is ready for your arrival. The pool heating fee is non-refundable, as we have to schedule and activate the heating system in advance.

Please Note: Our pool is professionally cleaned and serviced on a regular schedule. Because it is an outdoor pool, it is normal for a few leaves or small debris to fall into the water between cleanings, especially during windy weather. This does not mean the pool is dirty. We do our best to keep it in excellent condition so you can enjoy your stay.

BBQ:
The home is equipped with a BBQ grill and propane tank(s). We provide the tanks, but they may need to be refilled during your stay. If you'd like our team to deliver and install a full propane tank, the fee is $69 per tank. Please let us know before your arrival if you'd like us to arrange this. Alternatively, you are welcome to refill the tank yourself at a nearby propane refill station or exchange location, paying only the cost of the propane.

Pets:
This home is pet friendly and there is a $250 pet cleaning fee. This fee is per pet.

Outdoor Bugs:
It’s normal to occasionally see bugs outdoors, especially during warmer months. We have regular pest control service, but to help prevent bugs from entering the home, please keep doors and windows closed when not in use.

Additional beds:
Please let us know 24 hours before your reservation if you would like us to make up the sofa sleeper so that it’s ready for your stay. Rollaway beds are also available for an additional fee.

Important Note for Late or Last-Minute Bookings:
Thank you for your reservation! Please note that for bookings made after 4 PM or for same-day arrivals, we may not always have time to fully refresh the property before your check-in, depending on the timing of your reservation.
If you notice anything that needs attention upon arrival, please don’t hesitate to message us — we’re happy to send someone out the next day to take care of it. Your comfort is our priority, and we’ll do our best to ensure you have a great stay.
