The location being in Ginza is perfect for transport connections. Loved the hot springs and sauna. Used it everyday to sooth my aching feet from the miles we walked! Also liked the free ice lollies at the changing room! At the Dormy you know exactly what you will get anywhere you travel in Japan. We'll definitely be back!
The main criticsm I'd have is the firmness of the beds mattress. Its like sleeping on a board which appears to be Japanese preference from my experiences!

The location was fair; it was close to a station but still a reasonable walk with kids to the heart of Ginza. The room was large and on the premium floor the patio and ability to have fresh air was nice
The beds were not overly comfortable but worse than that was we had one very thin pillow each. I asked for additional pillows daily but was always told none were available. We were on the level 12 premium floor. The room itself was spacious and clean. It may sound trivial but pillows should be a basic necessity for any level of hotel and it did impact our sleep and stay. We stayed 4 nights and during our trip to Japan in other hotels slept on traditional Japanese futon which was much more comfortable than the bed and bedding in this hotel
