The location is fantastic. Easy access for town by car or bus. Very close to a big supermarket. the site itself is beautiful and very tranquil. Lodges are cozy and the hot tub was a great addition and was used often during our stay. We would have loved to stay longer but had other commitments. Will hopefully be back at some point.
Hot water pressure and temperature were a little poor but wasn't a major problem. Could also have done with a a few more plates and cups so wasn't having to washup so frequently.

Beautiful lake view. Lodge was on lovely grounds. Loved the geese at your door. Hot tub was lovely, clean and relaxing. The lodge was clean and well equiped for a stay away from home. It included a dishwasher and washing machine along with iron and ironing board. Location was brilliant within walking distance of a tesco and short drive to York Minster.
Nothing to dislike. I've stayed in newer accommodations but the relaxing vibe and lake view makes up for this. I will definitely book again.
