This 300-year-old farmhouse is being restored to its former glory!
The vacation home is divided into two living units: the front part of the house, the “residential house,” with many separate rooms, and behind it, the “barn apartment,” which features an open-concept layout spanning three floors.
The residential house has been completely renovated and, as in the past, features a living room with a sleeper sofa and a dining room. The kitchen has been opened up to the hallway, providing more space. It is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. A modern bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as an additional guest restroom, have also been installed on the first floor. The first floor features two bedrooms, each with a bed measuring 1.80 x 2.00 meters. The attic area has also been fully converted and offers additional sleeping accommodations. In total, the house can comfortably accommodate 4–6 people.
The rear part of the house, the former stable, has been converted into a studio that is open-plan across three levels: the stable apartment. On the first floor is the kitchen-living room with a ceramic cooktop and dishwasher. On the first floor, the former hayloft, there is now a living area with a high-quality sofa bed and a spacious bathroom with a shower and toilet. On the top floor is the sleeping mezzanine with a 1.80 x 2.00-meter bed for two people.

The “Troghaus” is located in the shared garden. This freestanding glass house can also be rented upon request. Flooded with light, it offers protection from rain, sun, and the evening chill.

Great cottage! With a nice view at the zeppelins flying over.
Also the pool was great at a hot day.
For a dutch guy (upto 2 meters in lenght) the doorframes are a litte low... (ask my head)... but that is part of renting a 300 year old cottage.. :-)

Old farm house with low ceilings, very thoughtfully renovated. The owners managed to keep the houses character, and yet give the inside a modern feel. We were able to to tell that a lot of thought and heart went into this. We loved our stay and would come back anytime. Our two kids loved the hidden pool and used it every single day!

It was a nice quaint cottage in a quiet neighborhood.
The host was so very nice and wanted us to feel welcome and comfortable. We had a bit of a language barrier, however it was understandable as we were in a different country.
I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
