A lovely stone built cottage with a relaxing feel, beamed ceilings in the lounge and latch doors.
Fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table and chairs.

Double bedroom to the front, bunk beds to the rear.
There is a utility area with access from the back door (ideal for bikes) with tiled floor and washing machine and stairs up to the kitchen.
There is access to the whole cottage including the utility area with own back door and tiled floor, ideal for bikes or outdoor equipment.

Me & my adult son had a great stay. I am Buxton born n bread but hadnt seen the Buxton carnival weekend since 1978! My son had never experienced it. My Local families home was full so booked this cottage 5 mins up the road. Great location, clean, tidy & very well stocked with everything you need for a self catering stay. My son had the double room & I had the bottom bunk bed, both were very comfortabke & the bunk is an adult sized mattress. Plenty of room, very quiet, good shower & as its a traditional stone building it was lovely & cool inside despite these high temperatures we have been experiencing lately. Being greeted every morning by birdsong & the horses whinnying in the field opposite topped it off. We did have an small issue with the cellar door to the basement utility room door not opening & our host Mark had his handy man Neil round to fit a new hande within half an hr- very impressed! Mark has been very quick to respond to my messages throughout. Would definately recommend renting this property

Perfect little cottage just outside Busxton to use as a base for hiking in the Peak District, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, clean tidy, and plenty for the kids to do. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage is lovely, you need nothing, everything is included (sheets, towels, parlour games for families...).
There's a lot of convenient tourist informations in the house.
Peak district is a great natural park, we enjoy our walks, even in the rain !
