Nightmare of a stay

Not much to like about this poorly maintained filthy place.

Awful place to stay. Unfortunately after paying in full in for my girlfriend to stay here, she was stuck staying in this dump of a place longer than she should have. The host had the audacity to try to kick her out in the middle of the night when she compained. Who wouldnt complain when the place is filthy and crawling with ants. Host cant even provide decent cookware as you can see from the attached picture. That goes to show how poorly maintained this place is. When I finally found her another place to stay in after she felt unsafe staying in this unit, she was much happier to be finally away from this dump.

Absolutely horrible stay. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The only positive of this property was the in unit washer, otherwise it's maintained worse than a 1 star motel. Its absolutely shameful, everything was filthy. You need the in unit washer to wash the dirt and filth off everything in the room. It's ironic the title for the property contains the words peaceful and quiet but it was anything but peaceful or quiet.

The absolute worst place to stay. It failed to deliver on all promises. When you arrive the pictures online don't match the unit, plus they put you in a room without a washer eventhough you booked a unit with a washer. We had to ask to be transferred to the unit we actually reserved. This is false advertising and totally unprofessional. The room was filthy, stains on the sheets, stains on the minature towels they provide--not even a standard size bath towel is provided, ants crawling on the table and all over the room, it was absolutely disgusting. The cooking pan supplied was severely peeling, see the pictures below. Also the minature crushed roll of toilet paper they gave my girlfriend after she requested more is shameful, see picture below, it shows the normal roll she bought herself at a nearby store next to the crushed roll they gave her. There was very little toilet paper provided and when you ask the hosts or staff for more, they become combative. The host had the audacity to call my girlfriend entitled because she asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, as the basics were not supplied, obviously more than one roll should be provided for a paid 6 day stay. The host and his staff harassed my girfriend throughout her entire stay. Constantly knocking on the door, sending insulting and combative messages. I booked this stay for my girfriend, who stayed at the property and there is not one positive thing that can be said about the unit, the host or the staff I would absolutely never book anything with this host or any of their properties listed under Homish Hermit. They are absolutely unprofessional, rude, and combative towards guest. As a woman, my girlfriend staying there by herself, she felt unsafe as the host or staff would knock on her door in the middle of the night or during various times throughout the day. Once they knocked on her door to ask for cash to extend her stay for one extra day. Totally, absolutely unprofessional people
