In the heart of Herzberg, Lake Juessee—a natural swimming spot in the summer—invites you to swim and relax. Or simply take a stroll around it.

For longer hikes, the neighboring Harz Mountains are ideal, such as the Brocken, Großer Knollen, Hanskühnenburg, Ravensberg, or the Bismarck Tower in Bad Lauterberg. In Bad Lauterberg, the Odertalsperre and Wiesenbeker Teich are also great spots for swimming. There is a golf course about 15 km away.

For winter sports enthusiasts, the nearest ski lift is in St. Andreasberg, about 17 km away, or the Ravensberg in Bad Sachsa, 24 km away.
