"The chalet is really nice. But you should not come with 5 persons, that's too small. Madame is kind and supportive. But the shower is very fragile. The kitchen has full working equipment, except there..."

About this chalet rental

Between vineyards and mountains, in the heart of Alsace, I welcome you to my independent wooden Hansi chalet of 50 m2 decorated in an Alsace spirit.
The chalet can accommodate a maximum of 5 people, located a 3-minute walk from the centre of Munster, a lively town of 5,000 inhabitants where you will find shops and restaurants. Here you can taste Munster, a popular local cheese.
In a quiet and green setting, come and relax by the river of the little Fecht which will rock your nights...
A 3-minute walk from the chalet, you can cool off at the pool or relax and unwind in the SPA area

The chalet is the ideal starting point to discover:

Hiking trails, the surrounding nature and the vineyard
On the mountain side, let yourself be tempted by the mythical Route des Crêtes. It will take you through passes and lakes, offering spectacular panoramas of the Alsace plain. Cycling enthusiasts will also find superb cycle paths and marked circuits for mountain bikers.

The picturesque villages on the Alsace Wine Route such as Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Turckheim, Kaysersberg and many others... These villages are very flowery and the half-timbered houses are very colourful

Colmar, only 20 minutes away. Stroll through the old town, admire the Quai de la Poissonnerie and let yourself be charmed by Little Venice, particularly romantic in the bank or along the alleys with its half-timbered houses

Strasbourg, with its impressive cathedral and UNESCO-listed historic centre, is also worth a great day of discovery

Medieval castles such as Haut-Koenigsbourg, Hohlandsbourg or the Trois Château de Ribeauvillé, perched on the heights and offering spectacular views of the Alsace plain

Places of remembrance such as the Linge Memorial and the Natzweiler-Struthof Camp, as well as emblematic sites such as Mont Sainte-Odile, a spiritual high place and exceptional panorama

Museums and other cultural venues will delight you with the Unterlinden Museum, the Bartholdi Museum, the Ecomuseum in Ungersheim, the Automobile Museum, the Railway Museum and many others...

Alsatian farm inns and Winstubs will delight you with their specialties such as the marcaire menu, sauerkraut, bäckeoffa, flammekueche (tarte flambée) without forgetting bredele and kugelhopf
Accompany these flavours with a good glass of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer or Crémant

A magical day out with the family, Europa-Park, the largest amusement park in Europe

The Christmas markets transform Alsace into a magical setting, the illuminations and traditions create a warm and magical atmosphere

Ski resorts located between 15 and 30 minutes from the chalet: Schnepfenried, Gaschney, Trois Fours, Le Tanet, Col de la Schlucht, La Bresse

The chalet is really nice. But you should not come with 5 persons, that's too small. Madame is kind and supportive. But the shower is very fragile. The kitchen has full working equipment, except there were no covers for the pots. For the beds: If you bring your own bed stuff: Be aware that the beds for 2 persons have a single matresse with 1.4m and also a single cover with 1.4m. The chalet is really in the center of the town. But it is very quiet, no noise from the streets or neighbourhood. The TV has only french channels, but you can have a laptop connected via HDMI. The staircase to the upper rommes is steep. Everything is tidy and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The chalet is located in a very small but nice town 20 minutes away from Colmar. Most Christmas markets and, beautiful towns are at a short driving distance. The place is very quiet and next to a small river. Ideal for relaxing holidays away from the city. Not appropriate for toddlers and small children as there is a very steep stairs to the up bedrooms.
