About this house rental
The Second Sandbar offers a home away from home for up to 9 people. This recently updated home is full of life's simple pleasures: an unbeatable ocean view, an ocean access right across the street, dependable WIFI, *three Roku TVs, a fully equipped **kitchen, comfortable mattresses and linens, plush towels, an oversized washing machine and dryer, a second refrigerator, beach chairs and wagon, and an outside shower for rinsing off after a long day on the beach. The fourth bedroom has a built in desk and cabinets for those having to mix a bit of business with pleasure. The porch around the house invites drinking coffee at sunrise, lounging or reading in the afternoon shade, and gazing at weekly fireworks at night. There is a bus stop in front of the house for the free Island shuttle and restaurants and the Island's largest grocery store are within walking distances. We welcome pets (pet fee applied at booking), but please be courteous by keeping them off all furniture. Be sure to hose them off well (using our outdoor hose and/or shower) should they be sandy and wet from their frolics on the beach. And, don't forget to dry them off before they join you inside- thank you!

The owner and the property manger were very easy to reach. Our family had a fabulous time at The Second Sandbar. The house was in a beautiful location directly across from the beach.

This was our 3rd year in a row at the house! We love it- great access to the beach, clean comfortable, great kitchen amenities and seating. Best view on South Padre. The host is really friendly and accommodating. P lol entry of parking and we’re talking about next year!Thank you for another great vacation!

The stay and location was awesome but there was female and dog hair everywhere upstairs in the bathrooms, master bedroom, and kitchen. The masterbed room bedding was dirty with stains with black female hair throughout, we bought pillows, sheets, and blankets for our use during our stay. Same black hair in both showers, bathroom, kitchen, and living roomThe management company should expect better cleaning services.

This home is very neat and organized. Excellent location close to restaurants. It is right across from a beach access and the balcony overlooks gulf blvd and has unobstructed views of the beach.
