This is a wonderfully characteristic little Neapolitan apartment, full of local charm and personality. Its greatest strength is the location, which is fantastic for exploring the historic centre of Naples, wandering through the old streets, discovering local restaurants and experiencing the energy of the city. It offers a genuinely atmospheric stay and makes a great base for sightseeing. There are plenty of reasons to choose this property, particularly if location and character matter more to you than space and comfort.
Unfortunately, the standard of cleaning was disappointing. The room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, and the bed linen had visible marks and should have been replaced before our arrival. These are basic expectations for any accommodation, regardless of its age or character.
The shower was exceptionally small and cramped, making it quite uncomfortable to use. While we appreciated that the compact bathroom was part of the property's character, it wasn't particularly practical.
The air conditioning worked, but produced an unpleasant, stale, damp and musty smell when operating. It gave the room a slightly dank atmosphere and detracted from an otherwise charming setting.
Ultimately, while we loved the location and appreciated the character of the apartment, comfort and cleanliness were not its strengths. It served its purpose as a base for exploring Naples, but it wasn't somewhere we particularly enjoyed spending time relaxing.

It’s very exciting and artsy.
The humidity is very high inside it smelled a bit moldy and the towels and clothes don’t dry out fully even with leaving the door window open all day.

Good location, communication from staff first class, someone met us to hand over the keys.
Location good, BUT this is one of the noisiest places I have ever stayed. Bins being emptied at 1am, mopeds up and down the street all night, alarms going off for nearby shops and properties, people shouting. Cobwebs everywhere on ceiling, WiFi poor and tv incredibly slow, lighting impossible to operate, and the shower was very very small and broken, had to hold the shower head by hand.
