Het uiterlijk en de ruime kamers.

I choose Casa Bascara as my base for two weeks of bicycling in Gerona area. It was the right choice. Location wise it is perfect. I was able to ride everywhere… from climbing Rocacorba to cycling to Costa Brava. Room was clean and comfortable. The host, Luc, is always ready to help. When I come back to Girona area (and after this trip, I know that I will come back), Casa Bascara is definitely where I am going to stay.
Nothing comes to mind.

Great location and peaceful.

The room was nicely renovated and the bed was very comfortable, which we appreciated.
• The terrace and outdoor furniture were not clean upon arrival.
• It was helpful to have access to a shared kitchen; however, the host also kept personal items there, and the space was not well-maintained.
• Common areas like the kitchen, dining area, and terrace were used by the host as well, which made the experience feel more like staying in someone’s private home than a dedicated guest accommodation.
• Upon check-in, we were shown several rooms (4–5), even though we were not given a choice to choose from all of them. This was confusing and raised expectations unnecessarily.
• Toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo were stored in the corridor, with the host mentioning we could take what we needed, similar to a hostel. It would be more comfortable and practical to place these items directly in the bathrooms.
• Unfortunately, the host was not particularly service-minded, which impacted the overall experience.
