About this house rental
Salento, San Foca, Torre Specchia Ruggeri—a small fishing village with white, sandy beaches, just a few kilometers from Lecce and Otranto and only 5 minutes from the Acaya Golf Club, an 18-hole course. Here you’ll find two-room apartments nestled in a centuries-old olive grove covering 7,000 square meters with a lawn. Elegantly furnished, they are equipped with every comfort, including a TV, washing machine, parking space, front and back porches, a barbecue, and a wood-fired oven.

Each apartment has a single bedroom (featuring Leccese stone or white walls), as well as a living room with a kitchenette and a double sofa bed.
There is also a small vegetable garden with local produce available to guests, as well as bicycles that can be used freely for long rides through the beautiful Mediterranean scrub. Supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, and pharmacies are located in the immediate vicinity.
The sandy beach is 900 meters away and can be easily reached by bike or on foot.
The beaches are mostly sandy, with both public and private sections; they feature attractions for children and are easily accessible to people with disabilities.
There are also, in the immediate vicinity, supermarkets, pizzerias, traditional restaurants, and numerous small stands where you can sample sea urchins and other types of seafood.
Along the coast, within a few hundred meters, you’ll find a variety of venues to suit every need; there are numerous beach clubs that host different events almost every day.
About 2 km away, you can visit the archaeological excavations at Roca Vecchia, also known for the stunning cove called Poesia.
You can enjoy water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and more, as well as diving and boat trips.
Just a few minutes’ drive away, you can visit the beautiful Baroque churches of Lecce or the ramparts of Otranto.

What a lovely place we stayed for a few days with absolutely amazing hosts! Antonio and Francesco are so friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home and very comfortable during our stay. The apartment is great and simple, there is everything you need, it's got its own patio, situated in a beautiful peaceful olive tree grove, very close to the sea. The beaches are nice and not crowded, San Foca is just 7 minutes away with good local restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend it. Thank you!

Antonio and Vita were very welcoming and hospitable. They were extremely generous with cold drinks in the fridge on arrival, biscottis, treats and homemade wine.Also had fresh eggs from their chickens.The next day we received homemade liquors.
Antonio’s English is very good and he was most helpful with suggestions for touring the area and helped us with our very poor Italian. Vita is very kind. The space was very clean but spartan.
Outdoors there was plenty of choice for relaxing and eating.
It was very quiet even when we had neighbors on both sides.
We found the bed uncomfortable hence 4 stars.
We never heard from Dario after our arrival even though we sent him messages. We assume he asked Antonio to deal with requests we sent.
We sincerely thank Antonio and Vita for their generosity and hospitality.
