About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on the upper floor of a single-family home with its own entrance via an outdoor staircase and features a spacious living area with a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a shower/toilet, and a large terrace with a lake view.
A beautiful, natural garden for shared use and a private seating area with a grill right on the lake
In the summer, a small private beach is a major attraction. A simple motorboat can be rented on a daily basis. There are also fish in the lake.
Einsiedeln is known for its Baroque monastery complex. The Benedictine Abbey is Switzerland’s largest pilgrimage site and has long been an important stop on the Way of St. James. The Black Madonna of Einsiedeln attracts around 800,000 pilgrims and tourists each year. Particularly worth seeing are the abbey library and the Baroque stables, which house the oldest surviving stud farm in Europe.
The “village” of Einsiedeln is characterized by a vibrant cultural life (Carnival, World Theater, museums, events). The density of restaurants, pubs, and bars has always been above average, and you can still find (almost) everything you really need in the village.
The Schwantenau moorland is the fourth-largest raised bog in Switzerland. This picture-perfect landscape is a little gem of national significance.
The pre-Alpine region offers plenty of activities and opportunities for the active: swimming, hiking, biking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, ...
