The Beach House - Spectacular Beachfront House w/heated pool
"Any closer and I would be in heaven" is the wooden sign that hangs outside The Beach House. The interiors reflect island life with island style, a mixture of the old and new. Original one-of-a-kind pieces adorn this wonderful beach home. Vaulted ceilings, glass doors that step out onto a fabulous (and enormous) deck, and a view of the most breathtaking pink-sand beach lends itself to the ultimate island getaway. Step off the deck onto the amazing beach and walk into the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
The Beach House has a beautiful pool with ocean views. The pool can be heated, if desired, for a charge of $350 per week.
The Beach House is located directly on French Leave Beach, a mile-long crescent of pink sand that has been ranked top 20 in the world. It is located on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the premier location on Eleuthera. The town of Governors Harbour, with restaurants, groceries stores, shops, and banks, is only a mile away.
The Beach House has just been totally renovated (work completed in August of 2016). A mixture of modern and rustic beach living is the decor and theme throughout. Concrete counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a double commercial sink are part of the modern and well equipped kitchen. The dining table built from reclaimed island wood comfortably seats eight with additional seating for four at the kitchen island. The living area with its white couches and hand-crafted island straw mats looks out through a wall of glass onto the deck and French Leave Beach beyond. Relax outside on the beach-view veranda swinging day beds.
The Beach House has three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds with ocean and beach views. The third bedroom has a king bed which can be converted to two twins (please request in advance) with a tropical garden view.
The house is fully air conditioned and every room has ceiling fans.
The large outdoor deck is the perfect place to watch the sunrise in the morning, sunbathe through the day, or enjoy a relaxing, tranquil afternoon. Equipped dining and lounging spaces and a gas grill, it is the ultimate getaway.
With its vast veranda and direct beachfront location, the Beach House is ideal for hosting weddings and other events. Additional charges may apply for events.
Amenities at The Beach House include air conditioning throughout, wifi, TV with a Firestick (no cable), a washer and dryer, three kayaks and a gas grill.

We are VRBO home owners. Based on the high bar that Michele has set, I now have a list of items that I will need to get to make our rental as great. Every item of convenience and need is provided and the property is amazing! Our family of 5 explored the entire island, lounged at the pool & incredible beach, ate well and danced at the Buccaneer Club. It was just what we needed and Michele made it extra special. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

We stayed at the Beach House in January and it was great. With three spacious, comfortable bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and views for days, you can't go wrong. Definitely get the pool heated, because January can be a bit cool and windy. The home is in a fabulous location, super close to Governors Harbor and ON French Leave Beach. The home is very well appointed with everything you are going to need to relax and reset. We'd definitely book here again. And, the owner and her family are friendly and super responsive. No wonder this house is almost always booked.

We stayed at the beach house in governor's harbor on French leave Beach which was the perfect location. There were three couples and the house was perfect with each bedroom having an ensuite. The house was perfect for six people with a well-equipped kitchen and open to the living room so everyone could socialize. One of our favorite places to sit and have a cocktail was outside under the pergola but the short walk to the pink Beach was spot on. Matthew the property manager and Michelle the owner or a delight to work with and I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we will probably be back!
