WAKA VILLA Private Resort & Spa 16 + Adults Only

I found this place which had glowing reviews on Expedia so I took a chance of booking it even though I normally book the big chain Hotels. Boy oh boy! What a surprise! Huge villa with 3 massive bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room/kitchen and best of all, a private swimming pool. Amazing place and very reasonable too. Angkor Wat is just 8Km from this place. The staff was very attentive and even made us breakfast boxes to take with us for early sunrise view of the temple. The hotel sent us a limo to pick us up from the airport and the service was impeccable with cold towels, drinks etc. We also had the best massages for the whole family. Our flight to Hanoi was at 6pm and they let us stay till 4pm without any extra charge. I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place for 9 days. This was our 5th visit to Cambodia and it was definitely the best, due to this resort. The staff is excellent, the food is amazing, and the resort is the best you will find in Siem Reap (Take it from experience - I have stayed at 4 other resorts in this town). Here are three main reasons I feel this resort is superior to all the others: 1. The management is very active here. Most resorts you have no idea who is running anything or where to find them. At Waka Villa, Masao Okabe is the managing director of this resort and takes the time to sit and talk with you. He truly cares about your experience at this resort and what he can do to make it better. I've never experienced anything like this before - it was amazing! 2. All of the staff at this resort were fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. In particular, we had a great experience with Mr. Sum Seam. He knows Siem Reap very well and provided a great experience for us. Everything from transportation, restaurants, and visiting temples was scheduled by him. 3. The food and amenities were exceptional! Unlike other hotels and resorts, Everything is based around your schedule at Waka Villa. Instead of being rushed into a buffet-style breakfast during a certain time (ex. 6am-11am), at Waka Villa they serve breakfast all day long - you get to pick when you show up. The food is prepared by an excellent chef and is fantastic!

This is an amazing place to stay. The rooms are exceptionally well-organized, spacious, and spotless. The attention to cleanliness is evident throughout the property. The towels are large, soft, and fluffy—more than enough to comfortably accommodate any guest. The shower was excellent, with strong water pressure and easy-to-adjust temperature controls, making every shower relaxing and enjoyable. The food service deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. The complimentary all-you-can-eat dining options were outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious choices. The room service menu is equally impressive and easily earns another 10 out of 10 for both quality and selection. What truly sets this property apart is the staff. They speak English well and consistently go above and beyond to help guests. No matter the request, they seem willing to bend over backward to find a solution and ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I also had the luxury of a private pool, which was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Because of the warm summer temperatures, the water remained pleasantly warm into the evening, making it perfect for a relaxing nighttime swim after a day of sightseeing or activities. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable stays I have experienced. The combination of outstanding accommodations, excellent food, exceptional service, and thoughtful amenities makes this a place I would highly recommend and happily return to in the future.
