Both the staff and the guests I spent time with were great. Location was walkable to a lot. Also, since they rescue animals, I got put out some leftovers for cats and a possum in the rear garden! Added treat. Kitchen is very well-equipped. Lovely shared livingroom area so you can meet other guests.
I booked very late so I got the room that is not used much with a separate entrance...the extra door got locked but someone came out at an odd hour to resolve the issue. Had it been at a critical time, though, I could have missed my flight. All was well though.

Great hostel in Panama City with a kind and helpfull owner Manuel who speak really good english. He arranged tours for me with pick up from the hostel. And I will for sure stay there again for my next visit in Panama.

Right in the heart of the city surrounded by many restaurants and not too far from most attractions. Affordable. Very clean! Fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals. If you want to be friendly, there is a common area with large screen tv that on this occasion was mostly on the news since we had an earthquake while we were there. We were VERY happy not to be in a huge high rise! Pretty quiet place and felt safe. Comfy bed and the rare hot shower! No complaints at all.
Not much parking, but we lucked into a spot on the street right in front each time we returned. It seems most people there are not traveling with vehicles.
