Our host, Oksana, was superb. She was responsive and helpful. Couldn't ask for more. She was like a friend immediately. We loved the design and style of her apartment. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning worked perfectly and we needed it! Luckily, the kitchen countertops were big enough to keep our luggage handy since there is really nowhere to "unpack". The wardrobe can handle a few hanging items. This we weren't cooking, using the kitchen wasn't a problem. The bathroom is gorgeous but the bath instead of walk-in shower did present problems. Oh, and Oksana reimbursed us for the two breakfasts we did not eat at the restaurant nearby. This is also a perk of staying here. There is a good selection of items at her favorite restaurant and the servers clearly like her, too.
Oksana warned us about noise from the bar below us when we arrived. She wasn't wrong. It was pounding until 1:00am every night. After the first night I bought some great silicone earplugs from a pharmacy that helped enough so I could sleep. The only other thing that was hard to overcome was the bathtub. They look charming, these clawfoot tubs with a handheld shower wand, but for older adults, they are functionally obsolescent. We happen to be fit enough to walk to the top of the Kotor fortress without a struggle but climbing in and out of this tub is not fun. Forget about sitting in it (is that what people do?). I managed, but everything nearby was then wet as there is no curtain to prevent this. My spouse only showered once the whole time(!!). If you aren't used to this system of trying to wash and hold a shower wand...well, I don't think I need to explain. I would stay here again, but he has warned me never to book a walk-in shower again.

Perfect location right in the old town of Kotor within easy walking distance of all historic attractions, the beach and the main bus station. The apartment was exceptional, very tastefully decorated with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay in Kotor. A beautiful bathroom with free toiletries was a wonderful addition. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend. Oksana is a fantastic hostess and went out of her way to make our holiday perfect.

The host was so friendly - she made us feel very welcomed. The room is spacious and very clean!
The sound from the pub directly underneath on the ground level was quite noisy. If you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend you bring ear plugs. But we were able to fall asleep because we were so tired!
