Summary:
Wake up to a panoramic view of Biscayne Bay from the 31st floor of Icon Brickell, the Philippe Starck designed W Residences tower. This 1,400 sq ft condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer, for up to 4 guests. Walk to Brickell City Centre, Whole Foods, the Riverwalk and the best restaurants and bars in Brickell. South Beach, Wynwood and the Design District are a short ride away.
The Space:
The living and dining area opens onto the bay through floor to ceiling windows: sunrise over the water, the Miami skyline at night.
Bedrooms: a king bed in the primary bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, plus an air mattress if needed.
Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms.
Kitchen: fully equipped.
Laundry: washer and dryer inside the unit.
Work: fast wifi throughout, and the dining table by the window makes a comfortable workspace with a bay view.
The building offers a resort style pool deck, a spa with hot tub and a fitness center on the 15th floor amenity level.
Guest Access:
Check-in at the building's front desk.
Before arrival, please upload a government-issued ID for the primary guest. Building amenities (pool, spa, gym) require a pass per adult: this 2-bedroom unit receives up to 4 adult passes, and each adult who wants a pass needs an ID on file. Minors do not need a pass.
2 elevator FOBs are left in the apartment. They open your floor and the 15th floor amenity level.
The Neighborhood:
Brickell is Miami's financial district and one of its liveliest neighborhoods. From the building you can walk to Brickell City Centre and its shops and restaurants, Mary Brickell Village, Whole Foods (2 blocks away), the Miami Riverwalk and Brickell Key. Bayfront Park and the Pérez Art Museum are a short ride north.
Getting Around:
Brickell is very walkable. The free Metromover loops through Brickell and Downtown, and Uber and Lyft are available everywhere, so most guests do not need a car.
Parking: paid valet parking is available at the building, at the building's rates. Spaces are limited, so if you are coming by car, message us before booking and we will confirm the details.
Other Things to Note:
Building renovation, final phase: the building is completing its exterior works. Until they are finished, balcony access is closed and a transparent protective film covers the windows. Works take place on weekdays during the day.
The pool is currently open on weekends. The spa and fitness center are open every day.

The view is blocked by plastic sheets. We were informed of this and the view would have been great. The other issue is parking was 50 per day. I missed that in the information provided but it was there. We ended up parking one block away for 20 per day in a garage.

Property was well appointed and extremely clean. Was quite spacious, and so central to everything. We booked the place as our daughter was doing her destination wedding in Brickell area over four days.It is important to note we needed a place that was spacious as we had a lot of wedding stuff with us. So even though the outside was under renovation (as units balcony is closed off with plastic on all the windows) and complex pool closed, that was not an issue for us during this visit. Also, the renovations and what was and was not open was clearly stated on the booking page so there were no surprises. But could walk to so many excellent restaurants and Brickell City Center. I would definitely stay again.

The host was extremely responsive and the unit was very clean. Loved the great views from the corner unit and even saw a manatee drift by from 31 floors up.
