I chose Micampus Barcelona because it offers good value for money in a convenient location. The accommodation is fairly basic, but that is exactly what I would expect from a student residence, and it provides everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The location is excellent, with easy access to the metro, tram, and bus network, making it simple to reach central Barcelona. There is also a café and a small supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, both with check-in and any questions I had.
My room was clean and comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the air conditioning during the 30°C+ August heat. The chair in the room was also more comfortable than during my previous stay. The shower gel provided in the bathroom was a nice touch. Although my stay was shorter this time, I found the residence to be just as comfortable and good value as on my previous visit.
The room was fairly basic, which is expected in student accommodation, but some aspects could still be improved. There was no handwash or soap provided in the bathroom.
Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged again during this stay. Thankfully, the room had a separate bathroom door, which prevented water from spreading beyond the bathroom, but it would be good to see this recurring maintenance issue resolved permanently.

Good AC
Ants in the room, dirty bathroom, no kitchen supplies like cutlery. Only one bed was made for us two. Location and its surroundings were a bit uncomfortable
