About this apartment rental
- We are in the heart of BV - Basecamp location for your outdoor adventures.
- Half a block from dining and shopping on Main Street
- 10 minute walk to South Main & Arkansas River & pickleball
- And we have AC (window units seasonally)
This home - built in 1892 - has historic charm (including a few squeaky floors) & modern amenities. We look forward to hosting you! STR License 194. This can also be booked as a 1 BR (sleeps 4) or 2 BR (sleeps 6)
The back half of the house is our part time residence. You may see us and you may not. We have a private entrance.
Historic BV welcomes you! Steps from your door is Main Street with shopping and a variety of dining options (and bourbon tasting options). South Main shopping, dining, and music is a 10 minute walk. Walk to tennis and pickle ball courts, a skate park, hiking, rafting, kayaking, disc golf and more.
You will enter through the front door off N Colorado with a code we will send you prior to check in.

We take pride that the town of Buena Vista wants their visitors to be safe. We have implemented all requirements from the town to keep you safe and passed the BV Fire Inspection.
BV is a small town where you can walk to most anything you need. Hop in the car for the Hot Springs, rafting, 14ers and many more activities.
Street parking should be available in front of the house. The back half of the house is our part time residence. You may see us in the yard, but we will stay out of your way and we have our own private entrance.
We have one outdoor security camera located at the front door.

The host communicated all of the important information in a timely manner. The rental was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a home that was built in 1892 which still has some original wood floors and older doors which add to the character of the home. The location is in the perfect location less than a block to dining, rooftop bar and shopping. The river park is within walking distance and has great hiking trails. The rental is stocked with everything needed plus extras. I observed many small details included such as enough towel racks in the large bathroom for all guests. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We arrived on a warmer day and the host had the air conditioner running and the rental very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This house is subdivided with the VBRO spot being the front 3rd of the house and the owners being the back 2/3rds of the house. There are multiple locked entrances between the two, one being a door with windows that can see directly into one of the two bedrooms and into the hall between the two bedrooms. Would be easy to violate our privacy. Really didn't like the glass door and would not have rented had I known we were sharing space. I didn't rent a VBRO to have to tell my kids to be quiet so they don't disturb the others in the house. Property was clean, beds comfortable, and a great location.
