Four cabins, four private hot tubs: every cabin at Forest Villas (Maple, Shire, Mossy Oak and Pin Oak) has its own private hot tub, full kitchen, bathroom and electric fireplace. Book one cabin, or book all four for groups of up to 16.
What you get on-property (included with every stay):
- Brand new jacuzzi hot tub - 6-lane axe throwing range (yes, really)
- The world's tallest Bigfoot statue, over 3 stories tall
- 4 acres of private forested trails through pines and hardwoods with beautiful trails throughout
- A peaceful pond with cattails

- Direct access to the Rails-to-Trails path (property runs along it)

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway.The setting was so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by nature and away from the stress of everyday life. It was the perfect place to unwind, whether we were enjoying our morning coffee with the beautiful views or spending the evenings cozying up together.It was also such a romantic escape. The quiet atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and cozy cabin made it the perfect place to reconnect and make unforgettable memories. Every detail made us feel welcome and comfortable.We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway, I can’t recommend this cabin enough. It truly exceeded all of our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

Pros Host checked in to make sure arrived.We were provided with firewood.They allow pets for a feeConsThe backyard was not completely fenced and faced a public street and our dog wandered to the other side before we realized. My boyfriend had to clean out the firepit because it was full of soot and broken glass.The road was relatively busy and noisy and there were residential homes on the other side.The futons in the cabin were not comfortable. Since the weather was getting bad and we would need to stay indoors, we decided to go home after two days of our four day stay.There are no decent places to dine in marienville.the itilian restaurant is closedand their mobile food truck was out of everything. We went to some Shamrock restaurant down the road from our cabin and the food was cold and soggy..completely inedible.
