This hotel was such a wonderful surprise. It is located in a beautiful and very authentic Italian town, and for us it was the perfect stop during our road trip between Slovenia and Italy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service was kind and welcoming. The gym was small, but the view from it made the experience really special. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel restaurant, together with the excellent local vintage wine. A truly memorable Italian experience.
Nothing in particular. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the hotel, the atmosphere and the service.

I'm a big fan of this hotel. The rooms are wonderfully designed; the breakfast service and restaurant offer a high quality meal and service; and the fitness centre is very reasonably equipped compared to many hotel gyms.
For someone who doesn't drive, the best option for arrival is to take a taxi from Udine to the hotel in Buttrio. If you get to Buttrio Station, there is no realistic walk to the hotel and the nearest taxis will come from Udine anyway (at your expense).
