The vibes and the lovely stuff
When I pay for 2 or 3 nights and I have to pay for the towel, I know it’s small amount , but should be including the price , comparing to other hostel in Europe. Just take it in consideration

1. Excellent location! Even when returning after 11 pm, I felt safe as the streets were still full of tourists.
2. The roof garden is open 24 hours, so you can go up at any time to enjoy the view of the Acropolis.
3. The reception is staffed 24 hours a day, which made me feel safe and reassured throughout my stay.
4. I booked a four-person room, which was comfortable and spacious. The toilet and shower room were separate, and both had windows, providing good ventilation.
1. There is only one lift, with a maximum capacity of two people, and it always seemed to be occupied. I had to wait three times before I finally managed to get on.
2. The music from the neighbouring restaurant was quite loud late at night. Thankfully, Mosaikon provides earplugs.
3. Luggage storage costs €6, which is the most expensive I’ve come across so far. Most places I’ve stayed at offer it for free!

I liked that the hostel was very central and clean. The location was definitely convenient for exploring Athens.
What I did not like was the overall atmosphere. For me, it felt too sterile and too much like a hotel rather than a hostel. People usually book hostels for a social and cozy vibe, and this place lacked that feeling.
It was also very noisy. Music was played until around midnight, which made it difficult to sleep, especially if you want to keep the window open. Closing the window helped with the noise, but then the room quickly became stuffy and uncomfortable because of the smell and lack of fresh air.
Overall, I would not book this hostel again. I also found it overpriced for what it offers.
