It is a small price to pay to drive around 25 minutes north. However is great location in the countryside and perfect for the northern lights, though it was cloudy and I missed them... But as a nature lover and a professional photographer is is very close to the wildlife preserve which I planned on going to anyway... and yes I did get some excellent shots of a couple moose which was my goal...
Krystal was a great host and never was overbearing but was there when I needed her to figure out the tv within minutes... lol
I will definitely stay again.... here is another hint... the golden sukura restaurant had great sushi at a reasonable price...

Kitchen was pretty dirty. Not messy, but grime on tables and counters.

Space is good. Cleanness is ok except for some dust. No toaster and chairs in the room. You have to stand or sit on the bed just to eat breakfast.
First of all, you have to pay $150 deposit directly to the host before you arrive and you must be very cautious when you dispose anything from the unit. We disposed just one single piece of kitchen towel which is just like a paper towel and two days after we checked out, the host told us that towel is reusable and she charged us $23.05 from the deposit without our consent. We explained right away but the host didn't reply until the next day. However she refunded us eventually.
