Vigna Caio Relais & Spa

Sometimes you’re lucky. Everything is right. I was lucky. They see you at the driveway, come to you, take luggage. How was your trip? Coffee? Sparkling or non sparkling water with it? When you’re all comfy check in is done swiftly - and they walk you to the enormous room. They garden and grounds are immaculate. Million dollar view. Spa center. 5* decor, art, building. Stayed one night, too short. Will come back!

I was in a garden suite. It’s part of a small building in the garden. I could hear the neighbours loud and clear - and unfortunately for them they could hear me as I had a cold.

Excellent in any perspective. Highly recommended.

All was fantastic.

Beautiful surroundings (gardens, lake view, outdoor pool/jaccuzis), lovely terrace with comfortable seating and nice views. Room was clean, and bed was very comfortable. Good spa facilities and very good value for money in last week of September. Hotel was nice and quiet. Erika on reception was really friendly and welcoming. A relaxing and beautiful place.

Minor issues which didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay, but could be improved: usually no towels available in spa area, breakfast food was variable in quality and items were often not always replaced when they ran out (e.g. no water, or no glasses, or no fresh bread), cold shower in spa wasn’t working. Restaurant food and drinks were nice but small portions and a little overpriced compared to our other experiences in Italy. However, these things are just areas that could be improved, and did not prevent us from really enjoying our 4 nights.

Beautiful views of the lake, lovely pool and gardens. Overall very relaxing and a comfortable room
