I strongly do NOT recommend booking this property.
I cannot highlight any positive aspects of this stay.
This property was extremely disappointing.
On arrival, the house was dirty and smelly. We found used toiletries in the bathroom, stained towels and linens, dirty floors (walking barefoot turned our feet brown), and even half-used candles with old wax. The mattresses were hard, the beds creaky, and one collapsed during the night due to broken slats.
The bathroom was unacceptable: the water smelled awful, the floor flooded after every shower, and a boiler was installed directly above the shower, a serious safety hazard. Other hazards included a leaking kettle, a broken mop bucket with sharp edges, and a dangerously loose balcony fence.
Facilities were also not as described: no hairdryer, only an iron (without ironing facilities), Wi-Fi never worked (so neither did the TV), and stairs to access the property were not disclosed, an important detail for those with mobility issues.
When we raised concerns, we were accused of lying. Only after this were we offered cleaning, but it never took place. We left early after being told we would receive a refund, which was not honored, and all communication from the hosts stopped.
The hosts ignored my private messages, yet still found time to respond publicly to my review on Booking.com, denying the issues rather than addressing them.
The photos on Booking.com are misleading: the property is not bright, not decorated as shown, and the linens/towels are nothing like the presentation in the listing. The location is also poor: very remote, with an unlit, badly maintained road, hard to find at night, and the lake attracts swarms of flies.
Sadly, this stay ruined our holiday in Corfu (thankfully, Albania saved the trip).
