We liked the historic feel to the building. We also really enjoyed chatting to Ralph the proprietor. He had all sorts of interesting things to share with us. He was also very helpful accommodating our bikes and other odd needs. The breakfast was very good too.

Lovely old Hotel in the centre of town. Ralph, the owner, is full of local knowledge and was very helpful - he took one of our bags up the stairs to our room. Great continental breakfast, every thing was so fresh. Location is close to lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Very easy to get to Spion Kop lookout as well.
Nothing to dislike. It is exactly as described!

Our hosts were amazing, so personable. An amazing story is attached to the existence of the premises.
We loved our stay here.
