Hotel Scappata

The breakfast was excellent and a great value. The hotel appeared to be the nicest on the beach by far. Service on the beach was great. Ample free parking was a huge plus. Everything on site was clean and well equipped.

The drinks at the bar/restaurant were very light on alcohol. The margaritas were basically $10 frozen lemonades. Match that with the "no outside alcohol in the rooms" rule and your forced to use their limited beer & wine mini-bar or go elsewhere.

The location, location and location. Directly across the Malecon was the beach which had hotel cabanas, beach umbrellas with chaise loungers. Hotel staff came by regularly to take food or drink orders. The hotel's second floor infinity pool is a perfect placement with the sunset for a background.

The hotel restaurant was a slight disappointment. Specifically the consistency of the food preparations. Our first night every dish was exceptionally prepared and presented, pizzas, two different Alfredo dishes along with the appetizers. The next day they changed chefs or something, because portion sizes were inconsistent, some dishes were under cooked and some over cooked, this included the pizzas. Breakfast was the same. Our third day there we stop eating at Resturante Scappata, choosing other options.

Absolutely everything about this property is spectacular!!! Right from the beginning I was taken such good care of by Enna (don’t let this one get away! She was amazing!!) The room WOW! View of the sea and swings on the veranda! The beach club and pool - WOW! The staff - WOW!! The restaurant and food - another WOW!! I will be back!!!

That I didn’t stay longer!! Next time!

Nice room

They did not acomódate. Had to pay out of pocket to stay at the beach.
