Impossible Motel

The decor was quirky and decadent the staff were friendly and super helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

The walls are quite thin so you could hear , very clearly what was happening I adjacent rooms- the hotel do provide earplugs. Also we were just above McDonalds and there was a lot of noise from around 4am with a woman screaming and walking up and down the street- this continued until until around 7am

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Fabulous hotel

Location was perfect.

The lighting in the room needs to be brighter. Hard to see when getting ready to go out.

The hotel itself is quirky and quite different compared to other hotels. The location being in the centre is fabulous and there is a lot on your doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even called us when our room was ready.

Saying the location for things on your doorstep comes with a downside. It is next door but one to a 24hour McDonalds where a lot of people got there McDonald’s and stayed on the street corner gossiping, laughing, joking and clearly still wanting to enjoy their night out. This went on until 4am and you can hear it very clearly from the bedroom so it was the worst night sleep we have had in a hotel. Then just before 7am the council decided to come and take down scaffolding being loud, banging talking and shouting at one another so again this woke us up. It was not a peaceful night sleep but it wasn’t the hotel‘s fault. It was everything outside and the windows clearly not being soundproof.
