This 66-square-meter vacation apartment in the spa district of Bad Sachsa is located above the Schmelzteich pond, right behind the “Romantischer Winkel” hotel. It’s just a few steps to the Schmelzteich pond and the forest! Ideal for people who love nature and going for walks. It’s a 10-minute walk to the main shopping street (Marktstraße), where you’ll find all the shops you need for daily life—whether supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, or cafés. But Bad Sachsa also has plenty more to explore: the Salztalparadies (swimming fun), the Harzfalkenhof, the Walkenried Monastery, and the Grenzlandmuseum are just a few of the countless places to visit. You can park directly in front of the apartment for free.



You can really make yourself at home in our Smart vacation apartment. The two-room apartment features a bathroom with a walk-in shower (120 cm x 80 cm) and a toilet, as well as a separate guest restroom. A second restroom is always handy, especially when there are four guests or when traveling with children. In the high-quality built-in kitchen, you’ll find everything to make a culinary and creative heart beat faster—from a Nespresso coffee machine to a waffle maker, yogurt maker, a smart food processor (with steam cooking function), toaster, and oven. There are plenty of cooking utensils available, so you can even invite your vacation acquaintances and new friends over for a meal.

The living room, with a view of the garden and trees, invites you to relax and linger with its three-seater sofa (140 x 200 cm), an armchair, a smart TV, and a natural-edge table (with seating for four). Board games, indirect lighting that can be adjusted to suit your mood, blankets, and candles create a cozy, warm, and homey atmosphere. If four of you are sleeping in the apartment, the living room curtains block out all light, allowing you to enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the full-size sofa bed. Look forward to pure relaxation in the Harz Mountains! Adjacent to the living room is a bright balcony with real wood furniture and a view of the mountains. A teak lounger invites you to linger, read, or meditate.

In the bright bedroom, you’ll find a comfortable white solid-wood bed and a large sliding-door wardrobe with plenty of space for all guests’ clothing. Of course, bedding and towels are included in your stay. Nightstands, indirect lighting, and blackout curtains ensure you rest peacefully and start the next day feeling refreshed. Business travelers will also find everything they need here: A fully equipped computer workstation with a printer and an extra monitor is at your disposal, and the very fast internet connection makes a “work and travel” vacation in the Southern Harz possible.
