Located in the historic center of Brisighella, one of Italy’s most beautiful towns in the Emilia-Romagna region, the Residenza d’Epoca Lina is a magnificent apartment situated on the second floor of a historic building that was originally a convent dating back to the early 17th century. As the building is protected by the Italian Department of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage, it does not have an elevator or wheelchair-accessible entry.
The apartment offers all the amenities needed to enjoy a vacation immersed in the tranquility of the Romagna countryside, surrounded by rolling green hills and magnificent olive groves—ideal for long, spectacular bike rides and hikes. Residenza d’Epoca Lina offers a parking space in the building’s shared courtyard.
In addition to its renowned extra virgin olive oil, the region’s culinary offerings are top-notch, featuring traditional handmade pasta, delicious cured meats and cheeses, meats, and Sangiovese wine.
Brisighella is located just 60 km from Bologna and 90 km from Florence, both of which are accessible by train from the town of Brisighella itself. In addition, and also accessible by train, just about 50 km away are both the beautiful city of Ravenna—with its prestigious tradition of mosaic art—and some of the most famous beach resorts on the Adriatic Sea, including Rimini, Cervia, and Riccione. The Bologna and Bologna-Forlì airports are 70 km and 30 km away, respectively, and both are connected by public transportation via train, shuttle, or bus.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Brisighella! The apartment was spacious, cozy, and spotless—very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. While we didn’t use all the amenities, it was clear the hosts had gone above and beyond to make the space feel like home.The location is perfect—right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore everything Brisighella has to offer.What really made this stay exceptional was the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Communication was fantastic from the start. When our train was unexpectedly cancelled, they were the first to let us know and even offered several alternative travel options. Their mother greeted us at the bus stop with such warmth, personally walking us to the apartment and sharing helpful local info along with the sweetest welcome basket filled with local treats.To top it all off, when I accidentally left a necklace behind, they reached out to let me know and kindly offered to ship it back.This was one of the most welcoming and caring stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Brisighella!
