Location was good. Safe, decent place.
Toilet ran (manager saw that, jiggled handle-‘fixed, but then it ran next flush and wouldn’t flush later). Asked about how to get to 7 lakes via shared taxi or mashrutka, told not possible but he’d arrrange taxi for $70. Took my asking 5 different people at different taxi areas to finally find the shared taxi (nice Tajik man took me). Feel that hotel staff could have been more helpful, at least if they want to host more tourists.

Great location and excellent hospitality
The hotel is very centrally located in Panjakent, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The staff are very helpful, especially when it comes to organising tours to the Seven Lakes.
The breakfast is really good, and although the hotel is a little old-fashioned, it is clean and offers excellent value for money.
Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly service and a great location!

The staff was very friendly, located near the main road
The rooms need some refreshments and the breakfast could be more variable. Also, I had one unpleasant situation there: I booked a superior room and then wanted to change it to a standard one. I could cancel and rebook it by myself but instead I decided to do it properly and asked them if they could change a room for me. First, they lied that there was no cheaper room available (it was visible that the hotel is mostly empty). Second, they asked me to cancel my previous booking which I did (sent them a free cancellation request). All seemed good but then they declined my cancellation request (probably hoping that booking will charge me for a cancellation as the booking was non refundable). In the morning they complained to me that they got charged for my canceled booking (which for sure wouldn’t have happened if they initially had approved my cancellation request). Eventually I checked out and left with no problems but still it was kinda unpleasant moment..
