The room was spacious with a huge king sized, comfortable bed. The kitchenette was well equipped but we didn’t use much as there are food shops next door. The bathroom is large and the shower is well designed with strong pressure, plenty of room to move and good matte finished tiles on the floor. There is under floor heating and a heated towel rack as well as shelf unit for your toilet bags. Parking is in the street right beside the accommodation. There are many lovely walks in the area and the ferry to Lyttleton is a short walk downhill. If you wish to drive to get to the ferry there is long term parking in the park above the wharf or restricted parking beside the wharf. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor setting on the veranda to sit and watch the activity on the harbour.

The view is amazing. The accommodation is set in a beautiful area, close to walking tracks, a café, and the ferry. It also offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We stayed during the week, which coincided with the school holidays. It was quite busy around the accommodation, with lots of people grabbing their coffees and heading to and from the ferry, so a little bit noisy at peak times.

Beautiful decor. Everything clean and tidy. And Jazz could stay with us was so important.
Nothing.

Another relaxing, comfortable stay in this light, airy, welcoming space. The Taimana Boutique Motel has the best bed & the best power shower. It is a pleasure to stay here!
