About this cottage rental
Welcome to your holiday cottage, hidden away in a peaceful village less than 5 miles along the coast from St Andrews. You will find big comfy beds, a cosy fire, and homemade cake waiting for you! Step out of your door onto the idyllic Fife Coastal Path with many beautiful walks to explore. Positioned close to the pretty 'East Neuk', it's the perfect base to discover all Fife has to offer - iconic golf courses, stunning sandy beaches, award winning local food, and lots of fresh sea air!! (Sorry No Pets can be accepted.)
The cottage has the following amenities:
*Two upstairs bedrooms - with hotel quality beds, cotton linens, and bath towels.
-Bedroom 1: superkingsize bed (180cm wide) or two singles beds (90cm wide).
-Bedroom 2: superkingsize bed (180cm wide) or two single beds (90cm wide). With optional cot (60cm x 120cm).
*Retro styled sitting room with a smart TV (BBC channels), books and a cosy wood-burning stove (lots of kindling & logs included).
*Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Plus a separate dining room with dining table, and a work desk.
*Relax in the garden surrounded by wild flowers and birdsong. Dine outside on the patio overlooking the fields, or snooze on the sunloungers. All the while, enjoying sunshine from sunrise till sunset!
*Only a 15 minute walk along a farm track straight to the sea. Follow the spectacular 'Fife Coastal Path' North to St Andrews beach, passing the famous 'Buddo Rock' or South to Kingsbarns beach, along beautiful coves.
*You can offload your car on the roadside below the cottage. Free longterm on-street parking is a few minutes walk away.
*The semi-detached cottage and garden are entirely for your own use. (Only the first set of steps and the path leading to the front gate are shared with the neighbours.)
*The building has an approved license (FL 01507P) and is adherent regulations, including interlinked smoke and carbon monoxide alarms . It has a newly installed eco-friendly heat pump, solar panels and energy storage battery.
*I am always very happy to answer any questions at all that you may have about the cottage, or surrounding area. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything at all- I would love to make your stay as special as possible for you!

We’ve stayed in several VRBO, and this property ranked highest for host support. Miranda made us very welcome and was quick to answer all our questions. We traveled from the U.S. and this was our first time driving ourselves around the U.K. We were nervous about staying in a small hamlet that seemed to be far from a city, but we were wrong. The location was fantastic and quite simple to navigate. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We especially enjoyed taking walks along the coast. We even braved the track along the Fife Coastal Path all the way into St. Andrews, and we are new to hiking. We certainly plan to return for future visits!

The property was in a great location about five miles south of St. Andrews. The grounds were very nice and very well kept, with good views of the area. The house was updated and clean, and had everything that we needed. Our host Miranda was extremely helpful, both before we arrived and after we arrived. It was a excellent place to stay!
