Riverside Retreat consists of two houses with two apartments in each. Our apartment was on the 1st floor. It consists of a living room with a kitchen and a terrace, a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom.
The bedroom is of a decent size, with a double bed a wardrobe. Since we came with a kid an additional rollaway bed was placed there. This room is airconditioned. The bed room with a shower is quite large.
In the living room one can only find a sofa, a coffee table and a TV, but no A/C. There’s no dining table in the living room only on the terrace.
In the large kitchen there are some high chairs with an option to eat on the kitchen’s “island”. One can find also a fridge, a cooker, an oven, an microwave oven. There are also some basic dishes and cutlery.
Riverside Retreat is surrounded by nature Although there are some other buildings nearby they are not right next to so one can feel like being in a jungle. On the distance one can see the ocean, also while swimming in a small but pleasaant infinity pool.
Complimentary breakfasts were served in our case by the pool, but we noticed that people staying on the ground floor got them directly on their terraces. The choice of products was not wide, but sufficient and we were not leaving hungry. Each day there was something freshly prepared, like pancakes and scrambled eggs, sausages and cheese, local fruits, juice and coffee etc. On the departure day our flight was in the evening and we could leave our luggage until late afternoon.
We stayed in several apartments in Seychelles and this one lacked charm and quality of the others. It’s not a bad apartment, but it doesn’t fully match the astonishing surrounding of Riverside Retreat. One could see it well in the bedroom where some decors are coming off apart for the not very high quality bed, while the wardrobe is a bit shaky. Additionally, placing the air conditioner just above the bed is probably not the best idea. Also in the bathroom some hangers are falling apart.
The living room lacks any furniture, e.g. some shelves could be added below the TV to cover the hanging cables, while in the kitchen there are a lot of cupboards, but most of them empty, not much equipment, dishes or cutlery, while some available require replacement, for example the main knife looks like a saw.

die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet, große Räume, sehr sauber, mit Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, Zimmer mit Klima, alles bestens und sehr sauber, Frühstück liebevoll und reichlich , abwechslungsreich, Oststeller, Eier alles was man sich wünscht, PKW Stellplatz vorm Haus, Pool, großer Balkon
