Die Location war an einer top Lage, gleich beim Teatro Massimo, und vom meinem Balkon konnte ich das Meer sehen mit u.a. einem riesen Kreuzfahrtschiff vor Anker, besser hätte ich es nicht treffen können. ALLES in nur ein paar Fuss Minuten erreichbar!
Z.B. das Ticketoffice für die Bustouren, ebenfalls gegenüber des Ticketoffice konnte man in die Busse einsteigen, viele autofreie Strassen, wie die berühmte 350 Meter lange Einkaufs- und Flaniermeile im Zentrum Palermos Via Ruggero Settimo (5 Fuss Min.), in den Zwischengassen (Altstadt) mit vielen vielen Restaurants und Bars die bis weit über Mitternacht geöffnet haben...zudem sind die meisten Geschäfte 7 Tage geöffnet von 08:30h - 20:30h.
Am meisten überrascht war ich von der Sauberkeit überall in der Stadt.
Ein grosses Kompliment geht natürlich auch an die Vermieterin Manuela.
Sehr netten Kontakt, zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und prompte whatsapp Feedbacks sowie vielen Tipps ihrerseits für gutes Essen jeglicher Art. Ich fühlte mich super "aufgehoben und betreut". Das Zimmer/Bad ist mit echtem Design-Geschmack eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer mit Doppellavabo, Regendusche, WC und Bidet alles in schwarzem Granit gehalten...sehr elegant und für mich Luxus pur...wwwooowww...kann ich da nur sagen!!
nix auszusetzen...für mich war wirklich ALLES perfekt! 😊

It is a very spacious room in a good location for all restaurants and tourist attractions such as theatres. Sound proofing was good with the windows closed. Temperature control was good, kept us cool in very hot weather. Shared kitchen facilities were good although we didn't cook. Small balcony with a view of the Teatro Massimo was good to use and fortunately not too busy in the apartment so we could use it easily. Not sure how it is when all rooms are full. Manuela is very communicative and gave a lot of recommendations for eating places etc. Great shower with good water pressure and very spacious en suite. Able to use the fridge in the shared kitchen so water and wine stayed cold!
For me the bed is very firm and very flat pillows but that is fairly personal I think. It is a very efficient and remote communication method, everything is done over the phone and doors opened remotely, so feels a bit impersonal although understand a keypad on the door would be just the same. I didn't realise it was a shared apartment with rooms off from the Booking.com description although only saw one other person in the kitchen during our 2 days.

Location - you cannot beat the location, prime area in Politeama facing the theatre abounding with shops and restaurants around with good transport connections and walkable to anywhere.
Communication with host - Manuela was an outstanding host, very communicative, gracious and thoughtful.
Apartment and Building - The apartment is modernized and styled amazingly You can feel a luxurious italian flair. The building is old but truly well maintained and super stylish, high ceilings and romantic design. :) It is also very clean and tidy.
Room - room was spacious and the private toilet and shower were great, water pressure is amazing! Air conditioning is working well - just follow Manuela's guide.
Soundproofing - At night, the area is very lively but the modern windows were amazingly soundproofed. Did not hear any noise at all and I am a light sleeper.
Shared Facilities - We traveled with a small child and the modern kitchen and washing machine were a life saver.
Thanks Manuela, will stay here again if we decide to visit Palermo again!
nothing really but if we have to nitpick - the fancy light switches sometimes were not working properly.
I would suggest to add a booster seat / high chair suitable for children in the dining room.
I would also suggest some instructions to be printed out in advance , like how to manipulate the airconditioning etc.
But really , these are very minor.
