Welcome to Romantic Hideaway, your cozy mountain retreat made for slowing down and spending a little quality time together. Just 3.6 miles, or about 8 minutes, from Natural Bridge State Resort Park, our tucked-away cabin keeps you close to the heart of the Gorge while giving you a private hot tub, fireplace, covered deck, hammock, firepit, and plenty of space to unwind. Spend the day hiking, climbing, paddling, sightseeing, or exploring nearby attractions, then head back for a hot tub soak, dinner at the cabin, and a quiet evening by the fire.

• Kitchen + Amenities: The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove and oven, microwave, Keurig, drip coffee maker, cookware, dinnerware, and everyday cooking essentials. Coffee is not provided. The cabin also includes Wi-Fi, a flat-screen Roku TV, fireplace, charcoal grill, covered deck with outdoor furniture, hammock, cornhole, firepit, and private hot tub.

• Sleeping Arrangements:
- Loft: King Bed. The King bed is located in an open-concept loft and is not an enclosed bedroom. Please also note that the stairs leading to the loft are steep and may not be ideal for anyone with mobility concerns.
- Downstairs Living Area: Fold-down futon with linens provided

• Bathroom: One full bathroom featuring a jetted soaking tub with showerhead.

• Pet Policy: Romantic Hideaway is dog-friendly with a $100 pet fee covering up to 2 dogs. Dogs only, please. Please make sure pets are selected at checkout so the appropriate pet fee is included with your reservation. Dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the cabin.

• Starter Essentials: Fresh linens and towels are provided. We also include an Essential Starter Pack with 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge.

• Firewood + Grill: Firewood and charcoal are not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas. Firewood is available for purchase at GoTime gas station, just a mile down the road. Please plan to bring charcoal for the grill.

• Parking + Access: Romantic Hideaway is located along the higher portion of a narrow blacktop mountain road with some potholes before transitioning to a flatter gravel section leading toward the cabin. FWD vehicles should be sufficient under normal weather conditions, but 4WD is encouraged. 4WD is required during snow, ice, heavy rain, or other inclement weather. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Additional vehicles will need to use the park-and-ride next to the GoTime gas station and carpool to the cabin. Trailers are prohibited.

• Location: Romantic Hideaway is just 3.6 miles, or about 8 minutes, from Natural Bridge State Resort Park and close to hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sightseeing, restaurants, and other Red River Gorge favorites.

🍂 Seasonal Fall Note:
During fall, leaves are actively dropping throughout the Red River Gorge. Our porches, decks, and outdoor spaces are swept and prepared before arrival, but fresh leaves can accumulate quickly—even shortly after housekeeping has finished. A few leaves on outdoor surfaces are a normal part of staying in the woods during autumn and are not an indication that the property was not cleaned.

• A Note About Nature:
You’re staying in the heart of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and all the nature that comes with them. While our cabins are professionally cleaned and routinely treated for pests, occasional insects and other woodland visitors may still make an appearance—especially during warmer months. This is a natural part of staying in a heavily wooded mountain environment and does not necessarily indicate a cleanliness or pest-control issue.

- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in the area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year`s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
